In April, we launched our first summer wear: the Go2 Cooling Guard Top.

This cooling guard top, made with PCM fabric, helps regulate your dog’s body temperature during high heat. Designed in a sleeveless form, it was made to fit a wide range of dog breeds regardless of body shape.

However, every dog is different — in activity levels, walk durations, and skin or coat conditions. A single solution can't meet every dog's needs, so we created a new option designed to provide better protection against outdoor element

Key Features of the Cooling Active Suit:

• PCM cooling fabric covers not only the back, chest, and belly but also the legs, offering full-body cooling.

• Reduced exposed surface area increases UV protection.

• Minimizes skin contact with external irritants in environments like grassy fields, beaches, and sandy areas.

Where is a dog’s most sun-sensitive spot when exposed outdoors? It’s the top of the head. It’s the closest part to direct sunlight, yet many garments don’t provide coverage there.

We focused on this from the beginning.

The snood that extends to the top of the head helps dogs feel cooler.
In winter, it blocks cold wind. In summer, it shields from harsh sun.
TAILHIGH always includes this thoughtful detail in our designs.

The Cooling Active Suit is designed with a slightly looser neck, so the neckline may sit further back than standard clothing.

Thanks to this structure, even sizing down often still provides sufficient back length coverage.

If your dog has previously worn the Anti-Bug Active Suit, we recommend selecting the same size, as the pattern is identical.

Weight & Wearability

The Cooling Active Suit is an all-in-one designed for maximum mobility, using ultra-light materials and highly elastic 4-way stretch fabric.

At approximately 112g (size M), it's 30g lighter than the all-in-one Anti-Bug Suit.

When wet, the PCM patterns become more visible and help maintain coolness longer. However, if not wrung out thoroughly, the fabric may hold water around the legs and feel saggy overall.

Because it’s an all-in-one, make sure to wring it out properly before use to ensure freedom of movement.

FAQ

Q: Won’t clothing that covers the legs restrict my dog’s movement?
A: No. The high-stretch 4-way fabric and mobility-focused pattern allow even active dogs to move freely and comfortably.

Q: Isn’t an all-in-one suit too hot?
A: The PCM fabric has built-in cooling properties, and its moisture-wicking design helps it stay breathable and dry, maintaining a comfortable body temperature.

Q: Is it suitable for all breeds?
A: We’ve designed the sizing to accommodate various body shapes based on back length and chest girth. However, for dogs with shorter legs relative to their body length, we recommend sleeveless designs. For dogs unfamiliar with all-in-ones, start with short wear times and gradually increase.

Q: How long does the PCM cooling function last?
A: The snowflake pattern inside the Cooling Guard Top holds microcapsules of PCM, and unless the fabric is physically damaged, its cooling functionality lasts semi-permanently. We recommend handwashing to preserve the material.

Q: If my dog wears a Cooling Guard Top, should I get the same size for the Cooling Active Suit?
A: Due to the fabric’s elasticity, you may consider one size smaller. However, because every dog is different, please contact us for personalized sizing advice.
